Veronica Shupenko Sams, 72, of Dublin, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband George Keiffer Sams, her sister Joyce Olenik (Cookie), her mother Ann Shupenko (Bubba) and her father, John Shupenko (Shup). She is survived by her three children, George B Sams, Cindi Eveler, and Pam Eanes; her four granddaughters; and her sister and brother-in-law, Dolly and John Batten. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. The Sams family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
